Latest Update: The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has launched the Samvida Sathi Portal 2026 to simplify the registration and recruitment process for contractual teachers and staff in Kendriya Vidyalayas across India.
Through this portal, candidates can register online and apply for temporary teaching positions such as PGT, TGT, PRT, Computer Instructor, Counsellor and other posts for the academic session 2026-27.

Eligibility Criteria
PRT (Primary Teacher)
- Senior Secondary with 50% marks
- Diploma in Elementary Education / B.El.Ed / B.Ed
- Qualified CTET Paper-I
- Ability to teach in Hindi and English
TGT
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant subject
- B.Ed from recognized university
- CTET Paper-II preferred
PGT
- Master’s Degree in concerned subject
- B.Ed qualification
- Teaching experience preferred
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: Up to 65 Years
- Age relaxation as per KVS rules.

Important Points
- Recruitment is purely contractual and temporary.
- Selected candidates cannot claim permanent appointment in KVS.
