Eligibility Criteria (Mandatory)
- Age Limit: 21 to 27 years (as of 01 July 2026). Candidates must be born between 02 July 1999 and 01 July 2005.
- Qualification: LLB Degree (3 or 5 years) with minimum 55% aggregate marks.
- CLAT Requirement: A valid CLAT PG 2025 score is mandatory for all applicants.
- Bar Council: Candidates must be eligible for registration with the Bar Council of India/State.
Selection Process & SSB Stages
There is no written exam. Selection is done via:
- Shortlisting: Based on CLAT PG 2025 scores.
- SSB Interview: A 5-day process at Prayagraj, Bhopal, Bengaluru, or Jalandhar.
- Medical Exam: For candidates recommended by the SSB.
- Final Merit List: Based purely on SSB marks.
Salary and Rank Structure
Selected candidates are commissioned as Lieutenant at Pay Level 10 (₹56,100 - ₹1,77,500).
